CBCCS has a warm and loving atmosphere. As you enter the Narthex, the hospitality ministry extends a loving greeting to you, and then the ushers warmly greet you as you enter the sanctuary. You can feel the presence of God throughout the church, because the love is extended to you as soon as you enter the building. The Word of God is delivered by the man of God, and we are spiritually fed. We are not a perfect church, but we serve a perfect God.

I've been a member of this church for 22 years, and I believe CBCCS is the best church in the United States. The members of Central are loving, caring, and very supportive. I've experienced moments of unemployment during my time here, and this church family prayed for me and were instrumental in helping me find employment. I love CBCCS! Wanda Duncan

Twenty-six years ago, during my first visit to CBCCS, I was greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. Family is very important to me, and I truly love the warmth and caring my CBCCS family demonstrates constantly. I've been an active member for 25 years, and my family and I have been truly blessed by the anointed preaching and teaching. Deacon Carl Linton

I've been a member of CBCCS my entire life. I've always felt welcomed and cared for at this church. The members are very supportive and encourage me in all that I do. With much prayer from my CBCCS family, determination, and hard work, I've accomplished my career goal. I graduated from Virginia Union University with a degree in Criminal Justice (May 2015). I'm currently employed as a police officer with the Metro Transit Police Dept. To God be the glory for blessing me so abundantly. Kendrick Anderson

I've been a part of the CBCCS family for almost eight years now. Even though I am very young in age--16 years old--I've had some tough times where I thought to myself--just give up. But with the help of my church family, friends, and my faith in the Lord, I'm able to keep pushing even when the obstacles seem too tough to handle. Jason Reddick

In 2014, I was told by my doctors that I had multiple aneurysms and needed immediate brain surgery. As a faithful servant I prayed, but the burden was enormous and difficult to bear. After Pastor Burruss announced my condition to the church, they began to pray for me. Today, I am healed because of the grace of God and the fervent prayers of the members of the church. CBCCS is a loving and supportive church with anointed leaders and teachers, and the church has a vehement commitment to community outreach for those who are less fortunate. Brenda Clark-Gales.

I've been a member at Central Baptist Church for 41 years.  Central has been supportive to me and my family--thank you! On April 9 2016, I was crowned Queen at the Golden Light Seniors Ministry Prom. What a BIG SURPRISE!!  To God be the glory!! My favorite song--Without God I Can Do Nothing.”
